VIEA marked a new creative milestone at Paris Fashion Week SS27 with the successful presentation of House of Tides— a seven-look collection incorporated pearls and gemstones directly into garments, bringing jewelry into the construction and movement of each silhouette. Designed in Las Vegas and meticulously hand-beaded and embroidered by our Filipino artisan in Cebu, Philippines, the collection placed craftsmanship at the center of VIEA’s Paris runway presentation.
Inspired by the ocean’s changing force, House of Tides unfolded through seven connected chapters. Tide Arrives introduced the first movement:
I. The Tide Arrives marking a strong start
II. Current Pulls developed its momentum.
III. Calm offered a pause, a sense of serenity.
IV. Before Stronger Currents intensified the progression.
V. Waves Crashing expressed turbulence and impact.
VI. Followed by Deep Sea, which shifted the story beneath the surface.
VII. Ocean Takes Over completed the sequence with a sense of surrender.
Together, the looks connected sculptural form, intricate beadwork and the movement of pearls and gemstones across the body. Pearls and gemstones all in the form of Wearable Art.
