For Viea’s second Paris Fashion Week, Founder, Devi Ionas set out to change the role of jewelry within a garment. The founder and creative director envisioned pearls and gemstones becoming part of the clothing itself, influencing its design, shape and movement. This concept became House of Tides, a seven-look collection presented at Paris Fashion Week SS27.
The ocean’s changing movement provided the foundation for the collection. Its quiet arrival, shifting currents and increasing force informed a progression across seven chapters. Devi translated this inspiration into sculptural silhouettes and intricate beadwork, using pearls and gemstones to connect the individual looks. The collection’s direction brought together the fluidity of the ocean and the structure of garments designed around jewelry materials. Set to be seen on the Spring Summer 2027 Paris Runway for Flying Solo.
